8 Policy Updates and Vendor Responsibility
1 Introduction
This Vendors Product Listing and Inventory Policy outline the guidelines and requirements for listing products, managing inventory, and processing orders on the KulturCart online marketplace. By registering as a vendor on KulturCart Marketplace, you agree to adhere to this policy and our general terms and conditions.
2 Product Listing
- All vendors must list their products in appropriate categories, providing accurate and detailed product information, including product name, description, price, images, and any other relevant information.
- Vendors must ensure that the products listed are culturally relevant and comply with KulturCart Marketplace's focus on multicultural food, local products, lifestyle, and information.
- Vendors are responsible for updating product listings as needed, including price adjustments, stock availability, and product variations.
- KulturCart reserves the right to modify or remove product listings that do not comply with this policy, our terms and conditions, or any applicable laws and regulations.
3 Inventory Management
- Vendors are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels for all products listed on KulturCart Marketplace.
- Vendors must update inventory levels promptly to avoid overselling or stockouts.
- While using the KulturCart POS system is not compulsory, it is highly recommended for simultaneously managing inventory levels across both online and physical stores. This system will help synchronize inventory updates across all channels and ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
4 Order Processing
- Vendors must process orders promptly and adhere to the delivery method the customer selects, including courier service, in-store pickup, or vendor delivery.
- Vendors using KulturCart Marketplace's delivery functionality must ensure that their delivery partners are familiar with the process and adhere to the rules, including accepting the maximum possible orders at a time.
- Vendors are responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of all orders placed through the KulturCart Marketplace. This includes packaging, shipping, and providing tracking information when applicable.
5 Delivery Methods
- Vendors must set up their delivery methods according to KulturCart Marketplace's guidelines, ensuring they provide clear instructions for customers and delivery partners.
- Vendors must offer at least one of the following delivery methods: courier service, in-store pickup, or KulturCart Marketplace's delivery system.
6 Payment Methods
- Vendors must accept at least one of the following payment methods: Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer (to the seller account), or cash payment.
- Vendors are responsible for setting up their preferred payment methods in their KulturCart Marketplace admin tool and ensuring that all transactions are processed securely and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7 Compliance and Enforcement
- KulturCart Marketplace reserves the right to monitor and enforce compliance with this policy. Vendors in violation may be subject to penalties, including account suspension or termination.
- In the event of any disputes or issues arising from product listings, inventory management, order processing, or any other aspect of using the KulturCart Marketplace platform, vendors should contact KulturCart Marketplace's support team for assistance.
8 Policy Updates and Vendor Responsibility
- This policy is subject to change at KulturCart Marketplace's discretion. Vendors may or may not be notified of updates or modifications.
- It is the vendor's responsibility to frequently review the policy and stay informed about any changes.
